Lahore:Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has commended the police force for ensuring foolproof security arrangements on Quaid-e-Azam Day and Christmas across the province. IG Punjab said that police officers and personnel remained on high alert across the province including Lahore and all operational units demonstrated excellent performance and provided a completely peaceful environment for the citizens to celebrate Quaid-e-Azam Day and Christmas. Families and women were provided with full security at Christian places of worship, settlements, parks, and recreational places. Foolproof security was also provided for the celebrations of the founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Day. IG Punjab further said that the personnel of Special Branch, CTD, Traffic Police and Dolphin Force and all field formations performed excellent duties. All officers and personnel from the rank of Constable to Additional IG deserve this praise.
