ISLAMABAD, :Islamabad Police, under IG Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, penalized three DSPs and two SHOs for poor performance on Thursday, while rewarding others for their exceptional efforts.
A public relation officer told APP that Sub Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Sabzi Mandi was closed to the line and charge-sheeted, while DSP Ramna was suspended and also charge-sheeted for unsatisfactory performance.
Station House Officer (SHO) Aabpara faced similar action, being closed to the line and issued a show-cause notice.
Meanwhile, SHO Sumbal and the Investigation In-Charge Sumbal received Rs 100,000 each and Class-I certificates for their exemplary efforts.
 DSP Investigation Abdul Sattar was also recognized with a commendation certificate.
IG Rizvi emphasized strict action against officers failing in patrolling, apprehending wanted criminals, and solving cases. “Negligent officers will face accountability, while performers will be rewarded,” he stated.
IG further directed weekly crime meetings to assess officer performance, adding that only result-oriented officers will retain their positions.
DIG and SSP Operations were instructed to ensure regular evaluations, with strict accountability measures to continue.
