District Education Officer (Mel Elementary) Dr. Muhammad Azhar said that all the primary and elementary schools of Rawalpindi district are determined to make them the best schools in Punjab. It will be made better and better. Today, children are losing interest in reading.Children who are away from books should develop a love for reading books. These views were expressed by DEO (Male Elementary) Rawalpindi while giving a special interview to the media. Dr. Muhammad Azhar further said that Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif for the first time in history made appointments in the education department on merit through the search committee. Exchanges have been made, which is evidenced by the appointment of CEO (Education) Amanullah Khan and my DEO (Male Elementary) in Rawalpindi.He further said that according to the vision of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, special attention will be given to the education and training of government school children, special attention will be given to extra-curricular activities along with curricular activities in schools because the sports of the nation. The fields are inhabited, their hospitals are deserted. Sports competitions will be held at the school level.Celebrations will be held in government schools on the occasion of National Days of Pakistan. District Education Officer (Male Elementary) Dr. Muhammad Azhar further said that the world has become a global village, we have to give world-class education to the children to keep pace with the world so that they can go ahead and make the country famous at the international level.In response to a question about myself, DEO Rawalpindi said that I have done PhD in Education from Islamic International University Islamabad, I belong to a village in Punjab, TarapTehsil Jand, District Attock and I Started teaching since 1999, first established a school for girls in Anjaria village from where girls did matric science for the first time. After that SSE was in Govt High School. After that I was selected as Teachers Educators in Directorate of Staff Development and trained teachers in Jhelum and Rawalpindi for about 5 years. Then I was selected as Lecturer in Higher Education Department and my first posting was in Government Degree College near Talagang. It happened in Terahta.After passing the Punjab Public Service Commission examination, I took charge of the Deputy DEO Kaler Sydan and worked for one and a half years. Dr. Mohammad Azhar further said that after Kallar Syedan, he worked as Deputy DEO in Murree for four years. He was Headmaster of Dera Khalsa High School for some time.Before taking charge as District Education Officer (Male Elementary) in Rawalpindi, I was the Deputy DEO in my home town Tehsil Jund where I set up the office of Deputy DEO at 11 Marle Covered Area.Answering a question, Dr. Mohammad Azhar said that no nation in the world can develop without education. Knowledge helps children to distinguish between good and bad, no child in Rawalpindi district will be deprived of valuable education. We should not only do government jobs but also equip our future generations with fine education.. God willing, I will work day and night for the improvement of public schools in Rawalpindi district, the doors of my office are open for teachers. I am an educator myself and I understand the problems of teachers. I will talk to the higher authorities to solve the problems faced by the teachers.
