Lahore:Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar’s mission to provide own residential homes to police martyrs’ families is ongoing. As part of this initiative, IG Punjab has handed over a house to the family of a police official who attained martyrdom in the line of duty. A house worth Rs. 13.5 million was purchased for the family of Shaheed Constable Mohsin Abbas.
According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, the house has been purchased and provided in one of the finest housing schemes of Sargodha, in accordance with the family’s preference. Shaheed Constable Mohsin Abbas embraced martyrdom in 2024 during crossfire with dacoits. The martyr’s family includes his parents and a sister.
Due to the special efforts of IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, the Government of Punjab released the funds for the martyr’s family to acquire the house. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar paid rich tribute to the eternal sacrifice of Shaheed Constable Mohsin Abbas, stating that Constable Mohsin Abbas embraced martyrdom while fulfilling his duty, without concern for his own life.
