Islamabad: IG Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi has sought a report on the implementation of the tasks assigned to the officers to ensure the safety of the citizens and informed them about the future strategy. According to the details, Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi remained busy in important meetings late at night to ensure the safety of the citizens. IG Islamabad sought a report on the implementation of the tasks assigned to DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq, SSP Operations, Chief Traffic Officer, SS Investigation and SSP CTD in the meeting yesterday and informed them about the future strategy. On this occasion, he said that every officer of Islamabad Police should play his full role considering the safety of the lives and property of the citizens as his first duty. He directed the officers to make effective and foolproof security arrangements for the security of churches on the occasion of Easter in the federal capital. He also ordered all the officers to prevent crime, ensure public safety and improve the law and order situation in the federal capital. All officers should ensure prompt and effective measures to prevent serious crimes through the use of modern technology and exchange of intelligence. The IG Islamabad said that the protection of the lives, property and dignity of citizens in the federal capital of Islamabad is the top priority of the Islamabad Police. All police officers should ensure effective patrolling in the city and ensure the prevention of criminal elements. Strict checking should be ensured at all entry and exit points of the city and a close watch should be kept on suspicious elements.
