Lahore:Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is committed to excellent health welfare for the children of police employees, in continuation of which, an additional amount of 2.4 million rupees has been released for the treatment of children suffering from serious illnesses of employees posted in various districts. The spokesperson of Punjab Police, while giving details, shared that ASI Nasir Mehmood has been given 1 million rupees for the treatment of his son’s cancer. Constable Zaheer Ahmad has been released 1 million rupees in funds for his son’s bone marrow transplant. Constable Naqqash Abid has been given 0.2 million rupees for his son’s treatment. Naib Qasid Muhammad Zafar has been released 0.1 million rupees in funds for the treatment of his son’s blood cancer. Constable Mubashar Ali and Naib Qasid Muhammad Arif have been given a total of 0.1 million rupees for the treatment of their children. The spokesperson of Punjab Police further shared that the aforementioned amount was released after scrutiny and approval by the Welfare Management Committee. Dr. Usman Anwar, while instructing the officers, said that further steps should be continued for the health welfare of police employees through the effective use of available resources.
