King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) will dispatched 100 emergency relief trucks carrying 950 tons loaded with essential food items to Flood affected areas to meet the needs of flood affected people.
10,000 Food packages will help flood affected people living in 17 district in all the provinces of Pakistan. Each food package comprises all necessary essential food items; weighted 95 kg (contains 80kg of flour, cooking oil of 5 liters, 5kg of Sugar, 5kg of Daal Chana), which is sufficient for the family for the whole month.
The food bags will be distributed in collaboration with the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and local government. More than 70,000 people will benefit from this emergency relief.
Speaking on the occasion His Excellency Mr. Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki the Ambassador of Royal Embassy of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan said that both countries enjoy close relations and the kingdom had always stood by Pakistan in every difficult time whenever needed specially in disasters. Chairman NDMA Lieutenant General Akhtar Nawaz thanks Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan, Director ksrelief and kingdom of Saudi Arabia for their generous and timely support for Flood Victims.
Important to mention here that Ksrelief has already distributed 5000 food packages among recent flood affected people in Baluchistan. This project comes under the umbrella of humanitarian projects by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center to assist affected families living in Pakistan.
