Lahore:IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is fully committed to ensuring the best possible medical treatment for police personnel injured in the line of duty. In this regard IG Punjab has released an additional amount of Rs. 3.35 million for the medical expenses of injured personnel from Lahore and various other districts. Sharing the details, the Punjab Police spokesperson said that Rs. 1.5 million have been released for medical expenses of injured Constable Mureed Hussain, while Rs. 300,000 have been provided for injured Constable Ghulam Mustafa. Furthermore, Rs. 250,000 each have been released for injured Constables Muhammad Ramzan and Muhammad Ameen for their medical treatment.The spokesperson further added that injured Constable Jameel ur Rehman has been allocated Rs. 250,000 for medical expenses, while injured Head Constable Muhammad Sarwar has received Rs. 200,000 for treatment. Similarly, injured Constables Muhammad Tariq and Tahir Mahmood have each been granted Rs. 150,000 for medical costs; Constables Atif Mehmood and Muhammad Shehbaz have received Rs. 100,000 each for treatment; and Constables Waqas Haider and Umar Sagheer have been granted Rs. 50,000 each for their medical expenses.The Compensation Award Committee, chaired by Additional IG Welfare Imran Arshad, approved the disbursement of the funds. IG Punjab emphasized that providing the best medical care and ensuring the swift recovery of police Ghazis is a top priority, and no effort will be spared in ensuring the health and welfare of these brave personnel.
