Islamabad, Aug 25: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb while terming floods situation in the country a national emergency has said national spirit will have to be demonstrated to cope with massive destruction caused by floods in Sindh and Balochistan. ” donations are needed from the entire nation particularly from overseas Pakistanis to provide assistance to the flood victims, she said this in a statement issued here Thursday. A big amount will be required due to large scale devastation caused by floods, she added. She underlined that resources are being mobilized while we are facing difficulties in relief works due to heavy rains and flash floods. The process of rescue and relief can be accelerated with the help of the people, she added.
