LAHORE:Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, remains committed to ensuring the best healthcare and welfare for the children of police personnel across various districts, including Lahore. Continuing this commitment, more than Rs. 1.509 million in funds have been released for the medical treatment of employees’ children.The spokesperson of Punjab Police shared details, said that Head Constable Sajjad Ahmad was granted over Rs. 1.019 million for his daughter’s hearing treatment. Head Constable Asim Shehzad received Rs. 250,000 for his daughter’s cancer treatment. Constable Khadim Hussain was approved Rs. 100,000 for his son’s bone marrow transplant. Constable Atif Javed received Rs. 75,000 for his son’s treatment, while Constable Amjad Khalil was granted Rs. 65,000 for the treatment of his son’s hearing condition.IG Punjab issued these funds following the scrutiny and approval of the Welfare Management Committee. He further said that the welfare of the families of police personnel, who are dedicated to protecting the lives and property of citizens, remains a top priority for Punjab Police.
