IG Punjab Committed to the Welfare of Police Force and Their Families

Lahore:Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is determined for the best health and welfare of the police force and their families. In continuation of this commitment, IG Punjab has released an additional Rs. 1.9 million for the medical treatment of police employees, retired officers, and their families. According to the spokesperson of Punjab Police, Constable Muhammad Muzammil has been granted Rs. 500,000 for medical treatment. Constable Muhammad Azeem has been provided Rs. 500,000 for cancer treatment. Under Officer Muneeb Sultan has been granted Rs. 250,000 for tumor treatment. Retired Inspector Baqar Shah and ASI Qaiser Mahmood have been provided Rs. 100,000 each for medical treatment. Head Constables Saif-ur-Rehman, Ahmad Nadeem, and Junior Patrolling Officer Javed Iqbal have each been granted Rs. 100,000 for medical assistance. Similarly, retired Assistant Muhammad Riaz and retired Inspector Muhammad Iqbal have been provided a combined total of Rs. 150,000 in financial assistance. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar approved the disbursement of these funds after the scrutiny of the Medical Financial Assistance Committee. IG Punjab said that Punjab Police is also providing quality medical treatment facilities to its employees through MOUs with various institutions.
