IG Punjab Committed to the Welfare of Special Children of Police Employees

Lahore:Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, continues to take practical measures for the welfare and rehabilitation of special children of police employees. In continuation of these initiatives, an additional fund of 40.5 million rupees has been released for children of police employees suffering from cerebral palsy. According to a Punjab Police spokesperson, 135 special children of police employees were provided 30,000 rupees each. For the welfare of children affected by cerebral palsy, 10,000 rupees per child are being provided on a monthly basis, while a total of 765.1 million rupees have been allocated to these special children during the current year. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that the best measures are being undertaken for the treatment and rehabilitation of special children of police employees. He further added that full welfare efforts are being made to make the lives of these special children easier, dignified, and better.
