Lahore :Punjab Police continues its commitment to promoting higher education for the children of its martyrs and serving personnel. As part of these efforts, a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Punjab Police and Pakistan’s leading private educational institution, KIPS Education System, at the Central Police Office, Lahore. Inspector General of Punjab Police, Dr. Usman Anwar, and Chief Executive Officer of KIPS Education System, Abid Wazir Khan, signed the MOU.According to the spokesperson of Punjab Police, under this agreement, special concessions will be extended to the children of police personnel across all KIPS schools, colleges, and evening coaching centers, covering admission, tuition, and exam preparation fees. The children of police martyrs will receive a 100% fee waiver on admission and educational expenses. The children of employees who pass away during service will be granted a 40% discount on admission and monthly tuition fees, while the children of serving personnel will receive a 35% concession. Moreover, deserving students will be eligible for complete fee waivers on a case-to-case basis.On this occasion, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that KIPS Education System holds a distinguished reputation across Pakistan for providing quality education. He added that such collaborations with reputable educational institutions enable the children of police personnel to pursue quality education in an encouraging and conducive learning environment. The ceremony was attended by Additional IG Welfare & Finance Imran Arshad, DIG SPU & Welfare Ghazi Muhammad Salahuddin, DIG Training Rao Munir Ahmad Zia, AIG Welfare Abdul Raheem Sherazi, and other senior officers.
