Islamabad:Chairman of FAST Group of Companies, Waheed Somro, hosted a prestigious dinner in honor of foreign ambassadors and senior diplomatic representatives stationed in Pakistan. The event was attended by a large number of diplomats and representatives from various countries and international organizations.The elegant gathering, held in Islamabad, provided an opportunity for meaningful discussions on enhancing bilateral relations, promoting economic cooperation, and strengthening diplomatic engagements.Among the distinguished guests were Atadjan Movlamov (Turkmenistan), Alisher Tukhtaev (Uzbekistan), Raimundas Karoblis (European Union), Wolfgang Oliver Kutschera (Austria), Eleni (Greece), Dr. Zoltán Varga (Hungary), Arno Kirchhof (Germany), the Deputy Ambassador of Italy, the Deputy Head of the European Union, and Director General at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador K. K. Ahsan Wagan.The event was held in a warm and cordial atmosphere, where representatives from various countries reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening ties with Pakistan.On this occasion, the host, Waheed Somro, presented traditional Sindhi caps and Ajrak to the distinguished guests as a gesture of appreciation and a tribute to Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage.In his concluding remarks, the host appreciated the participation of the guests and emphasized that such engagements play a vital role in promoting mutual understanding, cultural exchange, and economic partnership.
