Security forces foil terror attack on Zhob Garrison; 5 terrorists eliminated, 9 soldiers martyred

RAWALPINDI: A clearance operation conducted at Zhob Cantt has achieved its objective, effectively eliminating a significant terrorist threat in the region. During the operation,ISPR stated that a total of five terrorists were successfully neutralized, ensuring the removal of a grave danger to the peace and security of Balochistan.
Unfortunately, the operation was not without sacrifice. ISPR said that five courageous soldiers, who fought with valor and dedication, sustained critical injuries earlier in the operation and tragically lost their lives.Their ultimate sacrifice brings the total number of martyred soldiers to nine, highlighting the unwavering commitment and bravery of the Pakistani Security Forces, ISPR added.

In the early hours of Wednesday morning, a group of terrorists launched a dastardly attack on the Zhob Garrison in Northern Balochistan. The brave soldiers on duty successfully intercepted the initial attempt by the terrorists to infiltrate the facility. A fierce exchange of gunfire ensued, resulting in the containment of the terrorists within a small area along the boundary.
Security Forces have swiftly initiated a clearance operation to apprehend the remaining two terrorists.
