ISLAMABAD: In a decisive move, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has issued a directive to halt all allotment, transfer, and National Database and Registration Authority (NDC) processes within its Land & Rehabilitation Directorate.
The directive, outlined in Circular No. CDA/L&R/DDG/2024/, mandates that all officers and officials of the Land & Rehab Directorate strictly refrain from issuing No Demand Certificates (NDCs) for cases under investigation by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) involving former Member Estate Mr. Afnan Alam . According to official circular issued by CDA revealed that the specified tenure in question spans from July 2021 to September 2023.
The CDA emphasizes the significance of compliance with this directive, warning of stringent disciplinary actions under relevant rules in cases of non-compliance. Each responsible officer or official failing to adhere to this directive will be held personally accountable for any negligence.
This development signifies the CDA’s commitment to transparency and accountability, ensuring that ongoing investigations are not compromised, and preventing any potential irregularities in land allotment and transfer processes during the specified tenure.
