ISLAMABAD: In a bid to enhance the aesthetic appeal of Islamabad, the Office of the Administrator at the Metropolitan Metropolitan Islamabad (MCI) has launched a comprehensive campaign against illegally erected billboards across the city.
Under the direct guidance of the Administrator, the Union Council staff has intensified their efforts to identify and dismantle these unauthorized structures. With a clear directive from the Administrator, the Union Council’s jurisdiction is now actively engaged in enforcing operations to remove all illegal billboards within a week’s time frame.
The primary objective of this operation is twofold: firstly, to elevate the visual landscape of Islamabad, and secondly, to safeguard the lives and properties of its residents from any potential hazards posed by these unauthorized installations.
Expressing satisfaction over the proactive measures taken by the Union Council, the Administrator of the Metropolitan Corporation has underscored the significance of this initiative in maintaining the city’s charm and ensuring the well-being of its inhabitants.
