CM Maryam blames opposition for culture of disrespect

ISLAMABAD : Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said the opposition parties were the one which gave rise to the cultures of disrespect and discourtesy.

She was responding to a question regarding the sheer protest by opposition during President Asif Ali Zardari’s address. The culture of disrespect has given nothing, “It is a dying thing and soon it will be eliminated,” she said.

She said “there is a sense of awareness in the people and they want prosperity now which focuses on the solutions of their problems,”

She said the economy has been showing the positive signs lately which proved that the government’s actions were for the betterment of the country.
