Lahore:Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) undergoing the second specialized training course of Sindh Police visited the Central Police Office and met Inspector General of Punjab Police, Dr. Usman Anwar. IG Punjab inquired from the trainee officers of Sindh Police about their training and field experiences. On this occasion, DIG SPU and Welfare Ghazi Muhammad Salahuddin briefed the officers regarding the working of various branches including welfare, discipline, finance, operations, and investigation. Dr. Usman Anwar emphasized to the young officers that along with field exposure, gaining experience of office management and administration is extremely important. He said that after training at the CPO, the officers of Sindh Police will be able to demonstrate better performance in their professional careers.IG Punjab instructed the trainee DSPs to complete their training with dedication and commitment and to acquire modern expertise in all aspects of urban and rural policing. He further said that through the effective use of modern technology, crime control and improvement in public service delivery can be ensured. The trainee officers apprised the IG Punjab of the experiences and observations gained during their field training and also asked various questions. On this occasion, Additional IG Welfare and Finance Imran Arshad, DIG Training Rao Munir Zia, RPO Sargodha Dr. Shahzad Asif, DIG SPU Ghazi Muhammad Salahuddin, AIG Operations Zahid Nawaz Marwat, AIG Training Saba Sattar, and AIG Admin Dr. Asad Ijaz Malhi along with other officers were also present.
