Islamabad: Raziq Sanjrani, younger brother of former Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani, has taken charge of MD Saindak Metals Limited an organization under the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division). According to the sources, after him being reinstated on the orders of the Islamabad High Court, Raziq Sanjrani attended the committee meetings and performed important office duties. It should be noted that Raziq Sanjrani was removed from his services by former caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar and the Ministry of Energy despite not having a majority in the Saindak Metals Board. A three-thirds majority was required to remove the MD, while the interim Government had only six votes. Contrary to the rules, the vote of one Board member was not counted, which the board member had to appeal to the court. The board has already completed his term in October 2023.
Raziq Sanjarani has vast experience in the mining sector, now the company has a full time MD, the company will run smoothly as before the charge was given to part time officials which affect the company’s performance and huge financial expenditure.
