He further stated that the district is blessed with natural resources such as oil and gas and is also producing the cheapest electricity through the Ghazi Barotha hydro project but it is a sorry and sad state of affairs as the constitutional royalty of these resources is not being given to the people of Attock. He was of the view that he has already filed a petition for the redeessal of this injustice and the public interest case is being heard in the High court to secure the constitutional rights of Attock. He further stated that huge gold reserves has also been found in Attock along the River Indus banks but that is also being illegally mined and neither benefiting the country nor the people of the district. He vowed to keep on raising these issues of public interest of Attock and will continue his struggle inside the courts as well as outside on the political flora. This latest attack is stealing the identity of the people of Attock and is a travesty of justice for people who have always sacrificed for the national interest.
